Q: Will you be posting lecture notes? A: No. I believe that taking written notes is an important part of the learning process. Q: Will you post practice problems for exams? A: Yes. I post exams from previous semesters, but not the solutions. Keep in mind that there are differences in the way the course is taught each time, so the content will not perfectly overlap. Q: Can students do homework in groups? A: Yes. I encourage you to do homework in groups, however each person must understand the solution, and must write and submit their own work. Q: Will you accept a late homework? A: No. Q: I am a postdoc or a student at a nearby university. Can I audit the course? A: Yes, but only if you are really committed. This includes attending all sessions, submitting the homework assignments, and taking the exams.
